Basement Home: City:Your main line is where your meter is. Well: Your main line is wherever the outside line comes through the wall.
Crawl Space Home: Your main line comes up from the ground going into the home. (in this view, it is the vertical line in the back, on the right side of the picture.)
Slab Home: Usually, the main line will enter the home close to your hot water tank. Normally coming up through the floor. Home with a Well House: The main line comes directly out of the pressure tank.
