*Typical Well Water Diagram

This diagram shows the typical order in which components are set up.

A chemical feed pump to add chlorine to the water. A Retention Tank is used when you need more "contact time" for the chemical to stay in the water. An Acid Neutralizer can be used to raise the pH. Pressure Tanks are typically used in conjunction with private wells. The tanks provide consistent pressure to the home's water system.

A Water Softener is used to remove hardness from water.

A Pyrolox Filter can remove sulfur, iron and manganese. Water Softener Diagram Reverse Osmosis removes Fluoride, Lead, Heavy metals, Cysts, Cryptosporidium, Bacteria, Tastes, Odors, THMs, Chlorine, Fluoride, Radium and much more to give you purified drinking water. Reverse Osmosis Diagram

*Please note that not everybody will have this exact set-up. The equipment used will depend on what types of water problems are being treated.

A Chemical Feed Pump is used to inject chlorine or to raise pH.
